Umcimbi Vanilla is crafted in small batches and released once a year.

When the annual release is finished, it rests until the next cycle.

Ceremonial. Golden. Addictive.

This has made its way into my top 5 fragrances of all time. Y’all better run to the next release becuase there’s a chance I will buy the whole drop. Steph has a way of telling story with scent and this fragrance is no different. It opens a little dry and woody, like you’ve just stepped off the plane in Jhb and the grass is that golden colour. Then as it warms on you skin, it pulls a little Smokey but this is not that horrid braai smoke or cigarette smoke… it’s a spiritual smoke. Steph talks about it being ceremonial smoke, and although we come from different cultures which might perform ceremonies differently, it still lands as ceremonial smoke to my nose. That Smokeyness adds intrigue and depth to the fragrance that makes it feel elevated, niche and personal. The Smokeyness settles into this thick sensual, skin like vanilla that is soooo cosy- it is home. Warm hugs, belly laughs, firelit nights and skin on skin. It’s beautiful. Absolute masterpiece and I need like 10 of them.

The Umcimbi Vanilla is such a yummy light scent. When I received my purchase all I could smell was such a delicious scent that it felt like I could eat the packaging😋🤗

Obsessed would be an understatement. Deeply regret getting one bottle because I wish it would never finish. A vanilla like no other.

So sexy, firm in its stance. It smells sweet and smoky. Not a cigarette smoke, but a mysterious smoke.It makes me feel like I am wearing a black silk dress, high heels and gold rings and bangles on a beautiful evening out. The longevity is unbelievable. On my clothes, I smell it for days and even after washing them. Love this fragrance!
